Job description
Our client, a prominent enterprise organization, is seeking a talented and versatile UI Developer to support the enhancement and optimization of their document viewing and rendering capabilities.

In this role, you will focus on front-end user interface development while collaborating on back-end document processing systems. You will work closely with Accusoft Viewer and assist with PrizmDoc integration on the backend. This position is ideal for a UI specialist who also brings foundational experience with AWS cloud environments to help deliver a seamless, high-performance user experience.

Location: Anywhere in Canada (Hybrid - 2 days/week on-site if residing near a regional office)

Position Type: 4-Month Contract (Strong likelihood of extension)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Advantages
High Probability of Extension: Establish yourself within a highly respected organization with strong potential for long-term contract renewals.

Flexible Hybrid Model: Work fully remote if you are located outside major transit hubs, or enjoy a balanced 2-day hybrid schedule if you live near an office.

Cutting-Edge Tooling: Gain deep, hands-on experience with advanced enterprise document viewing, rendering, and collaboration technologies.

Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside a skilled technical team committed to modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities
UI/UX Development: Design, build, and maintain highly responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces for document viewing and processing applications.

Viewer Integration: Configure, customize, and optimize the Accusoft Viewer interface to meet complex business and user requirements.

Backend & API Support: Assist with backend logic and integration utilizing PrizmDoc to ensure seamless document rendering, conversion, and data transmission.

Cloud Collaboration: Work within AWS cloud environments to deploy, monitor, and support UI components and connected services.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate wireframes and user stories into robust, production-ready code.

Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Core Skill: Strong, professional experience in UI/UX Design and Front-End Development.

- Document Viewer Experience: Hands-on experience or deep technical familiarity with enterprise-grade document viewing engines.

- Experience with Accusoft Viewer / PrizmDoc is highly preferred. Equivalent experience with similar engines such as Apryse (formerly PDFTron), Firefox PDF.js, Nutrient.io, or eViewer is also highly valued.

- Cloud Awareness: Practical experience working within AWS environments to support application deployment and integration.

- Technical Stack: Proficiency in modern HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and popular front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).

Summary
This is an exceptional short-term contract opportunity with a strong outlook for extension, perfect for a UI Developer who enjoys working at the intersection of modern front-end frameworks, document rendering technologies, and cloud-native architectures. If you have a passion for creating seamless user interfaces and experience with enterprise document viewers, apply today to join this dynamic project!
