Job description

Job Types : Part-time.

Hourly. Start Date: ASAP Work setup : Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm ET Salary : $21 - 24/hr Take an inside look at what you will do each day: Responsible for implementing treatment plans based on best practices.

Uses systematic methods and behavioural strategies to support client in changing their behaviour Contributes to the development of ABA programs established by the BCBA to teach and reinforce a variety of skills for children and youth in a 1:1 and/or small group setting Understand the functions of behavior and responding appropriately and safely when situations arise Adhere to all ABA training, procedures and protocols Ability to adapt to changing conditions and/or routine and provide creative solutions Responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment for the client Responsible for maintaining the well-being and safety of the client while under their care Responsible to track client progress through the collection of data and graphing while keeping clients engaged Assists in conducting baseline measurements and other indirect measures as instructed by the Lead Therapist/BCaBA/BCBA Responsible to complete incident report in Microsoft Teams as per regional requirements within 24 hours of an incident Prepares teaching materials and organizes teaching environment Documents/records exceptional circumstances, completes ABC logs, and tracks multiple behaviours Organize and maintain program binders foreach client to include documentation, data collection, and individual files Maintains workspace organization and cleanliness Support clients with personal care tasks such as dressing, toileting, and eating Responsible for completing indirect work under the direction of the clinician in the appropriate time allotted and framework expected.

Here is what you will need to be successful Experience implementing ABA principles and behaviour support strategies is required; experience working under the supervision of a Behaviour Analyst is considered an asset Diploma or degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Early Childhood Education (ECE), Educational Assistant (EA), Child and Youth Care, or another related field. Experience working with groups of children in a classroom, childcare, camp, therapeutic, or educational setting. Passion for creating engaging, play-based learning opportunities through crafts, songs, games, movement activities, and structured academic programming. Experience supporting the development of communication, social, play, self-regulation, and school readiness skills. Ability to plan, prepare, and adapt activities to meet the diverse learning and behavioural needs of children. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Flexible and adaptable to shifting clinical and operational priorities. Supports both direct client programming and indirect classroom/clinic responsibilities (e.g., materials preparation, classroom organization, data collection, and documentation). Demonstrates strong accountability, reliability, and follow-through in both independent and collaborative team environments.
