About Olds College Of Agriculture & Technology

Founded in 1913, Olds College of Agriculture & Technology has been offering high quality hands-on education for over a century. Through our core programming including continuing education, online and blended programming, we provide accessible educational opportunities within Alberta and beyond. We are passionate about the Agriculture industry. Through our applied research and integrated learning, we are proud to be Canada’s Smart Agriculture College, specializing in agriculture, agrifood, horticulture, land and environmental stewardship. We work closely with industry to advance and adapt our programming to ensure our graduates have the skills to succeed.

Olds College is seeking qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate individuals to join our Trades & Skills Portfolio in the Industry Training & Continuing Education (ITCE) division. We are expanding our talent pool of potential instructors who are interested in delivering high-quality education and training to adult learners in various trades sectors. As an instructor with Olds College ITCE, you will play a key role in shaping the future of trades education, empowering individuals and organizations to thrive in a dynamic and evolving industry.

Available Courses

  • Welding & Metal Fabrication :

Introduction to Welding

  • Heavy Equipment and Agricultural Equipment Operation
  • Various equipment operation skills
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Equipment and Mechanical Systems :
  • Small Engines

  • Alberta Transportation Certified Air Brakes instructor
  • Pesticide Applicator (require 5 years experience & Train the Trainer certification)
  • Pesticide Applicator
  • Utility Tree Worker Safety Training
