Job description
Broad Objectives: The Window Installer Foreman is responsible for leading and coordinating installation crews to ensure high-quality window and door installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage schedules, crews, and on-site problem-solving while maintaining excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise installation crews on residential and commercial job sites.
  • Coordinate daily installation activities and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation specifications.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and building code requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve installation issues as they arise.
  • Train and mentor installers to improve workmanship and efficiency.
  • Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with company safety policies.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and site preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and customers.
  • Complete project documentation, reports, and deficiency lists as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in window and door installation.
  • Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction practices, building envelopes, and installation methods.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.

Salary and Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage of $35–$36/hour based on experience.
  • 100% company-paid extended benefits package after 3 months.
  • RRSP program after 2 years.
