Join our exclusive client, a global leader in food manufacturing as a Facility & Project Engineer. Looking for a skilled and versatile Engineer to manage day-to-day facility operations and support utility and project engineering activities.

Job Type : 1 year contract (Possible extensions or transition to permanent position)

Location : Sterling Rd., Toronto ON

Rate : $45-60 / hr

Responsibilities :

Develop comprehensive project specifications and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
Oversee and maintain building infrastructure including painting, roofing, flooring, doors, and elevators.
Ensure the functionality and compliance of fire-fighting systems.
Coordinate and supervise facility repairs, upgrades, and routine inspections.
Assist in the development and upkeep of maintenance systems and documentation.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize operational efficiency.
Contribute to technical planning and implementation of engineering projects.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

3+ years of Project / Facilities Engineer experience, with preference given to those in Food Processing or Pharmaceutical industries.

Technical Skills and knowledge of industrial services equipment Ammonia refrigeration plant, Air handling unit, Heat pumps etc.

Experience with equipment installation and piping design.

Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
