Your opportunity :
The Research Officer is part of a team working at the Faculty of Kinesiology andPhysical Education and specifically in the Exercise Oncology Lab (Principal Investigator : Dr. Linda Trinh). The Research Officer supports various research and administrative aspects of several research projects, with a general focus on behaviour change and cancer survivorship. The lab engages in highly collaborative projects with other faculty members, as well as some of the largest cancer centres in Canada (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Odette Cancer Centre). The Research Officer will regularly interact with staff, investigators, external researchers, faculty, and current or potential research participants to conduct and record research activities.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Scheduling day-today project activities
- Coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items
- Following rules and procedural instructions when administering research studies
- Disseminating and collecting research surveys and questionnaires
- Coding quantitative research data
- Tracking and monitoring research activities
- Maintaining information and databases on digital platforms
