ResponsibilitiesDesign & Quoting: Prepare CAD drawings for new fiberglass profile designs and develop material takeoffs to support costing and quoting.
Tooling Coordination: Coordinate tooling design with toolmakers, maintain schedules, and contribute expertise to tooling maintenance.
Technical Support: Work with engineering and sales to deliver technical assistance, including documentation and lifecycle support.
Production Excellence: Provide onsite support through quality documentation, inspection, analysis, and troubleshooting.
Innovation: Lead and contribute to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.
R&D: Coordinate product and process R&D activities to support company growth.
QualificationsEducation: A Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, a Mechanical Engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (3D parametric modeling is an asset)
Soft Skills: Strong communication, customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently within cross-functional teams.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing technical projects.
Assetts
Certification with CTTAM.
Knowledge of plastics, composites, or the fenestration industry.
Experience with Lean/CI methodologies and in-plant quality control.
Exposure to machine design, production, and/or fabrication environments.
