We don't expect you to know everything, and we will train you on our systems and processes.5+ years of formal management or leadership experience in a service-based operation.A passion for teaching and mentoring - proven experience raising the technical ability of the people around you, not just managing them.P&L experience and a working knowledge of service department financials.Proven leadership skills: hiring, training, evaluating, and motivating a team.Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - with direct experience working with customers and solving problems.Ability to make sound decisions on problems involving varied levels of complexity, ambiguity, and risk.Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP platforms (BuildOps an advantage) plus accounting software such as QuickBooks - we will train the right candidate on our systems.A continuous improvement mindset and comfort with modern technology.Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.Who succeeds here:Technical skill and leadership experience get you in the door.
