Every Vehicle Has a Story. Inspect What Matters. Get Rewarded for the Details. Scratches, dents, mismatched paint, a squeak that shouldn't be there - nothing gets past you. With your sharp eye and love of cars, you will travel to dealerships and logistics centers, giving every vehicle a thorough once-over to create a Vehicle Condition Report that people actually trust. This isn't a desk job - you will be on the move, building relationships with the same customers time and again, and taking real pride in getting the call right every time.


The primary responsibility of an Inspector is to conduct a comprehensive inspection of assigned vehicles and generate a Condition Report (CR) that accurately reflects the vehicle’s condition. Assigned vehicles are typically located at dealerships but may occasionally be done at one of our facilities. This position requires a willingness to travel to perform responsibilities, a keen attention to detail as well as the ability to build strong relationships with customers. May perform other, job-related activities as needed to support the business.

What You Will Do:

    Conduct vehicle inspections at a variety of locations including dealerships, physical auctions, and off-site locations.Identify, assess, and document structural damage, frame condition, previous and substandard paintwork, alignment of vehicle body panels, detect missing parts and mechanical problems, etc.Utilize training and industry best practices while also adhering to management-provided work instructions and/or procedures regarding inspections and associated documentation.Develop strong relationships with customers through regular interaction to ensure we meet/exceed their expectations.Ensure a high level of accuracy to minimize arbitrations.Follow all applicable safety and health related procedures.May be required to locate, start, and move vehicles, if directed.Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.


What You Will Need:

    Must be at least 21 years of age, have reliable transportation to travel to and from assignments, and possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.1-3 years’ experience in the automotive industry preferred.Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches.Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in a team environment.Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.Working knowledge of web-based applications and automotive inspection tools preferred.Must be detail-oriented, ability to provide exceptional customer service and be dependable.


Working Conditions:

    Ability and willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions.Ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel and stand for prolonged periods.Occasional exposure to loud noises, chemicals.

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $18.25 - $21.00, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
