Receiving and Final Inspector

Shifts: Day shift, Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Compensation: $23 to $25, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect precision machined parts using manual inspection tools, fixtures and indicators.
• Inspect finished goods and outside services against specifications.
• Complete receiving and final inspections independently.
• Review and interpret certified material test reports.
• Review and interpret outside processing certificates of conformance.
• Segregate non-conforming parts and materials.
• Review and complete NCRs under direction of Quality Manager.
• Review and complete first article inspection reports.
• Understand and follow all elements of the quality management system.
• Read and interpret drawings and 3D model files.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• 5+ years' experience required.
• Certificate of qualification, diploma or training in mechanical inspection an asset.
• Must understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Must have working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Solid computer skills and experience, including word processing, spreadsheet and ERP software.
• Previous aerospace experience preferred.
• Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
