Relocation is available - handled by HR case by case
Very rarely travel and if so it would be to another production facility in Phoenix (Less than two weeks a year)
Job Description
- The Controls Engineer will act as the technical lead in any PLC and HMI programming support of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- In addition, they will partner with the Information Technology department to provide MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) production support to ensure the efficient assembly of high-end refrigeration and cooking appliances.
- They will also provide direction to Manufacturing Controls Technicians for manufacturing support.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience programming Allen Bradley PLC's
Experience with HMI programming
Experience with capital projects and automation equipment commissioning
Experience with manufacturing execution system software
Experience with industrial network protocols (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNET, ControlNET)
Experience with AutoCAD
BS in Electrical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with automated conveyors, stamping, or plastic forming equipment
Experience defining electrical automation system requirements to vendors
