EXP Services Inc. is searching for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Electrical team in our Markham, ON office. The successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Responsible for meeting firm’s engineering quality levels for discipline on assigned projects.
• Support the project team to develop the Basis of Design (BOD), Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD) that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget and use best practices.
• Develop design concepts and ensure proper application and execution.
• Verify work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.
• Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering.
• Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
• Mentor and encourage development of Designer level staff.
• Write studies and reports on electrical system work.
• Contribute to revisions of EXP’s design standards and master specifications.
