Role Description
FH&P Lawyers LLP is seeking two (2) full-time Associate Lawyers for an on-site position at our Kelowna, BC office. We are seeking a Family Lawyer and a Litigation Lawyer. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, advising clients, and representing them in legal proceedings. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, collaborating with other legal professionals, and providing effective legal solutions. The candidate will also play a key role in developing and maintaining client relationships to ensure the highest quality of service.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and skills in Legal Research, Legal Analysis, and Case Law Interpretation
- Proficiency in Drafting, Reviewing Legal Documents, and Negotiation
- Experience in Client Advocacy, Litigation, and Representing Clients in Court
- Proficiency in Time Management, Attention to Detail, and Ability to Handle Multiple Cases Simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and offer tailored legal strategies
- Eligibility to practice law in British Columbia with membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident decision-making abilities and ethical professional judgment
