Most of our solutions are related to Energy Transition and carbon reduction industries.
POSITION OVERVIEW: Startec Compression & Process is currently recruiting a B-Pressure Vessel Welder to work at our Shepard Shop (9423 Shepard Rd SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 4R6). The B-Pressure Vessel Welder's main responsibilities will include welding metal pressure vessels based on drawings provided, using techniques that adhere to all specifications for vessels, piping, and welding assembly.
Shift Details: 4:30 p.m.
- -2:20 a.m.
QUALIFICATIONS : Journeyman trades certificate (preferably welding or pipe fitting) 2+ years of experience in vessel welding is required B-Pressure Certificate Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset Ability to pass a pre-employment functional, alcohol, and drug KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI): VESSELS Must have experience with fabrication and welding of pressure vessels Read prints, layout, fit, and weld as required Experience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW/GTAW weld processes Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Rigging along with the use of overhead and jib cranes SAFETY Maintain a safe work environment Participate in safety and company programs Team player with positive engagement Participate in project reviews with engineering & drafting We offer competitive wages, training, flexible, dynamic, and exciting work environment.
