About the Company
Forge Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join a diverse law firm based in Downtown Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that has a Collegial and supportive team environment.

About the Role

Maintain and manage accurate and organized debt collection files from initial demand through to resolution
Prepare and file Small Claims Court documents (claims, defences, motions, etc.)
Communicate with clients, debtors, and third parties in a professional manner
Draft correspondence and legal documents with attention to detail and accuracy
Attend court or tribunals as required
Track deadlines and ensure timely progression of files
Extremely efficient and adept organizational skills to manage simultaneous tasks effectively
Negotiate settlements where appropriate

What You Bring

Paralegal diploma
Licensed Paralegal
