GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.
The FIAT Portfolio Management team are responsible for a wide range of projects impacting the Finance and Audit departments that span multiple systems within the Finance/Audit domain. The projects may be internally driven due to upstream changes or new business; externally driven due to accounting-, regulatory-, market-changes; or mergers and acquisitions.
As an end-to-end Business System Analyst, you need to understand the project’s objectives, collaborate across numerous IT teams and lead the coordination of BA specialists and subject matter experts to collate system requirements from our Finance users and ensure they are tested and delivered by the end of the project.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

- Work closely with IT architects to understand the data flows and responsibilities of each system in the Finance architecture to define the high-level scope of changes across the component systems.
- Work closely with each Finance component’s system analysts and subject matter experts to plan, coordinate and manage the documentation of the requirements so that inbound and outbound critical data elements, assumptions, system responsibilities, execution of business rules and non-functional requirements are logically cohesive and completely cover the overall solution and requirements for Finance.
- Work closely with the end-to-end project managers to scope, estimate, plan, capture assumptions, highlight interdependencies and risks to delivery.
- Work closely with end-to-end QA managers and data providers to clarify test objectives, plan test cycles, highlight interdependencies and prioritize bug fixes discovered during testing.
- Work closely with data providers and Finance component system QA specialists to ensure the critical data elements and NFRs are delivered as expected.
- Analyze and interrogate various data sources and databases to assess the completeness and quality of data to meet Finance’s requirements. Where necessary chase data issues back to sources to establish the root cause of the problem and further corrective actions or workarounds.
- Understand the financial products and their associated business processes, events and characteristics so that idiosyncrasies are not mishandled and misclassified by our Finance systems.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs or technical IT/software engineering background.
- Proven ability in written and oral communication skills, with careful and concise attention to detail, to represent requirements of the stakeholders and project.

- Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team
