At Automated Logic, we've been developing and supporting intelligent building solutions that have helped customers, including small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations, operate their buildings more efficiently for over 40 years. Our products help reduce energy consumption, lower utility, operating and maintenance costs, and improve indoor air quality, occupant comfort, and productivity. Technology that supports the buildings and industry of today and tomorrow requires a wide range of talents and skill sets.

This position at Automated Logic in Coquitlam BC is for a seasoned professional in Project Management focusing on Services to Automated Logic clients, who works independently, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for smaller high volume projects, facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations, forecast project revenues, tracks progress, identifies project problems and recommends resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of project plans, project schedules and project budgets, ensure adherence to the established program plan, schedule and budget.
  • Track progress and identify/resolve obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules.
  • Forecast project revenues and re-estimate project costs monthly to monitor costs and maximise project profitability.
  • Analyse the gathered data and develop solutions/alternate methods of proceeding to optimise performance.
  • Maintain/present plans and progress reports on business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
  • Identify and address project problems and recommend resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Interact with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Gather resources and order parts for the projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in project management/supervision in controls or technical field

Additional information

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.

Pay Range

The expected base salary range for this role is between $89,500.00 CAD - $139,500.00 CAD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, as well as possible retirement contributions.

Other Compensation

This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive. If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.
