Compensation: $27 – $30/ hour (full-time / permanent)

The Flooring Coordinator works directly with Project Managers and Operations Flooring crews to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of flooring projects. Supporting operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Flooring Coordinator is always on the move. With their extensive customer services and flooring experience, strong organizational abilities and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Flooring Coordinator is key to the success of any flooring project.
Flooring Coordinators are responsible for:
- Working with PM’s on all flooring related jobs.
- Have knowledge on how to measure both Hard surfaces ( VCT, Hardwood, Laminate, LVP) as well as Soft Surfaces ( Vinyl Sheet, Carpet).
- Customer service Skills as they will be speaking and dealing with Insureds.
- Will be quoting and digitally sending samples to Consensus for Validation
- Dealing with Suppliers for Ordering materials, checking stock etc.
- Dealing with sub trades (Installers), Scheduling Installs with both PM and Insured.
What you bring:
- Extensive knowledge in types of flooring, their properties, and which is best to install considering all factors
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Phenomenal problem-solving skills
- Construction related experience
- Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)
Other stuff that’ll help you be successful:
- A background in any aspect of flooring
- Previous experience installing flooring
- You’re computer savvy ad pick up new programs easily
- Physically fit
Of Note:
The restoration industry requires flexibility to respond to emergencies. While this role is not a scheduled on-call position, be aware that unforeseen disasters may necessitate after-hours work.
