Overview

Job Skills / Requirements

Paladin Security's Recruitment Coordinators (internally referred to as Talent Acquisition Coordinators (TAC)) are innovative, organized, and enthusiastic brand ambassadors. In this role, you will focus on the front-end of recruitment and selection of new Security Officers by assessing applications, calling candidates to conduct phone screens, and arranging interviews. Keys for success in this role will be your excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.

This is a full-time temporary contract from April 2026 - May 29, 2026, with the potential to continue in June.

Responsibilities:

  • Screen incoming applications for minimum qualifications to proceed to interview stage
  • Conduct phone interviews for candidates who meet minimum qualifications and coordinate interviews with Talent Acquisition Specialists for those who are successful
  • Communicate with candidates in a timely manner
  • Document all information accurately in our application tracking system
  • Attend job fairs and act as brand ambassador, providing thorough information to interested candidates
  • Regularly report on metrics, including total applications reviewed, scheduled interviews, etc.
  • Other duties as required to meet operational needs

Requirements

  • Prior work experience in high volume recruitment, preferably in a front line service industry
  • Experience in the security industry would be considered a significant asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to think outside the box
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
  • High levels of discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or related would be an asset
  • Must be legally authorized to work full-time in Canada
