The HR Generalist will support the HR Manager and assist with a variety of HR and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
•Support all stages of the employee lifecycle (onboarding through offboarding)
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act (ESA)
• Coordinate onboarding and training processes
• Prepare and process Records of Employment (ROEs)
• Manage HR filing and documentation
• Assist with Short-Term Disability (STD) applications
• Provide administrative HR support
• Assist with light recruitment activities as needed
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years experience as a generalist role in a high volume, fast-paced environment and an HR Generalist
• Strong understanding of employment legislation (ESA)
• Experience handling ROEs, STD claims, and benefits reporting
• Comfortable working with manual HR processes
• Self-sufficient, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with HRIS systems
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the full employee lifecycle and be comfortable working within a largely manual process environment.
