Parts Advisor - Wetaskiwin, AB - 2026 (Wetaskiwin, AB)

PARTS ADVISOR - LEGACY DODGE WETASKIWIN!

The Parts Advisor & Accessories Specialist role is a hybrid position combining a parts advisor with a social media based sales role for automotive accessories, repairs and tires.

We are looking for a responsible, organized, friendly individual who enjoys working in a dynamic team setting. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, approach challenges with a positive and constructive attitude, take pride in delivering excellent customer service and LOVE social media technology.

Responsibilities

Parts Desk :

Greet customers professionally in-person, on the phone and online. Gather accurate vehicle information.

Receive orders by phone, email, or website chat and clearly communicate price, availability, warranty information, and all product options to customers.

Prepare and provide part and labour sales quotes to customers in a timely manner and place quotes in the system to ensure all team members have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

Assist customers and other team members with technical automotive and accessories knowledge.

Prepare and organize parts shipments.

Assist the parts manager with maintaining inventory accuracy and stock levels; order and receive parts as required.

Filing and general administrative tasks.

Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Responsible for collecting deposits and providing excellent customer service.

Assist customers (retail and internal service / sales department) in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts and accessories.

Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer needs and offering solutions.

Process parts transactions accurately, including invoicing, returns, and warranty claims.

Ensure all returns or product issues are handled professionally and promptly.

Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts for service repairs.

Stay current with product knowledge, new releases, and promotions.

Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized parts counter and storage area.

Keep Service Management informed of all problems and potential problems.

Complete and maintain all OEM warranty training courses and requirements.

Complete and maintain all Health & Safety training on an annual basis.

Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Report any situation or condition that could jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or its customers.

Source internet leads from social media advertisements to generate sales for the Parts and Service departments.

Work with Google Suite and social media platforms to communicate with customers and identify opportunities for additional services while assessing clients needs.

Understand and promote in house and 3rd party financing options for vehicle repairs and accessories.

Assist the marketing team (when required) to generate advertising ideas and / or content.

Liaise with the Service Department to schedule sold repair / accessory work.

Act as an ambassador for the store and the Legacy Auto Group.

Education & Experience

Relevant knowledge and experience in automotive mechanical repair, installation, and vehicle modifications.

Experienced building relationships and communication skills that earn credibility and respect through the demonstration of skill, knowledge, caring and ambition.

Experience with social media management and content creation from a customer service and advertising perspective in social media platforms such as : Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Proficiency with Google Suite products.

Experience working with financing programs.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience as a Parts or Accessories Advisor in the automotive industry.

Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts catalogs.

Experience with parts warranty programs.

Experience with PBS and Stellantis systems is considered an asset. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and keep organized in a fast-paced environment.

Strong computer skills (experience with dealership management systems).

Health & Safety tickets such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG are considered an asset.

Forward facing customer service experience is required.

Steel Toe / Composite Footwear is required.
