Working as an integral part of the Ayás Mén̓men Child and Family Support Services Department, this position reports directly to the Director, Ayas Men Men Child & Family Support Services, and is responsible for the management of a team of case social workers and monitoring their caseloads. This management position is in the area of Family Services, Guardianship, Post-Majority, Intake or Resource services. This is a delegated position and provides direction, leadership and support to the team that they are supporting. The Manager ensures adequate clinical supervision & guidance, oversight of decision making, quality assurance as well as staff training and development. The Manager will collaborate closely with other community service partners and Squamish Nation departments. As per the tripartite Agreement signed by Council, the Province of BC and Canada, this position is required to be a senior level delegated (C4) social worker which has the responsibility to act, on behalf of the Provincial Director, as the delegated authority of Squamish children and families. In collaboration with the Director for Child & Family Support Services, this position has the authority, accountability and responsibility to plan, develop manage coordinate and evaluate the delivery of services within the context of a case management team. The position is accountable for the quality of service to members by the Case Management Social Workers, and for setting and monitoring AOPSI standards of practice. In this role, you will make a positive community impact, supporting the health & well-being for Sḵwx̱wú7mesh children & families. The successful candidate will use a holistic and healing approach to assist and support staff to provide families in bringing growth into their lives.

Salary : $ 100,477 - $ 114,179 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
