Select People Solutions is pleased to partner with the Lethbridge Country Club in the search for an experienced General Manager to lead the Club's operations, financial performance, and continued success. Compensation & Hours:
• The rate of pay will be in the range $K to $K/year + bonus based on meeting performance targets

Position Summary:
• Oversee daily Club operations, including golf services, food and beverage, facilities, and turf management
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets, financial forecasts, and expenditure controls
• Partner with the Board of Directors to execute the Club’s strategic plan, annual priorieties, and long term objectives
• Lead and support department managers, including staffing, performance management, and employee development
• Drive member satisfaction, retention, engagement and membership growth through communication and programming
• Maintain positive relationships with employees, vendors, and community stakeholders
• Oversee facility maintenance, capital improvements, asset management, and service contracts
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, health and safety requirements, and organizational policies
• Prepare financial reports, operational updates, and recommendations for the Board of Directors
• Oversee membership administration, communications, and initiatives to enhance member satisfaction
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, service delivery, and overall Club performance

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or comparable senior leadership role
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, capital projects, asset management, and financial reporting
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality field or an equivalent education and senior leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing daily business operations
• History of success developing and implementing strategic plans and organizational policies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to balance financial objectives with exceptional customer service and member satisfaction
• Experience implementing operational improvements and supporting organizational growth

Bonus Points For:
• Experience working with a Board of Directors or within a member-based organization
• Background in hospitality, recreation, or other service-oriented industries
• Experience managing a seasonal business
