About the Job:

Full-time maintenance Handyman -- Immediate opening.

Position: Maintenance Handyperson (not live in)

The primary role of the Maintenance Handyperson is to:

• Complete approved maintenance work orders in a residential housing community within the established timelines.
• Maintain the physical condition of the housing community's property, equipment, building, and facilities.
• Maintain, service, and repair all equipment and facilities.
• Maintain the storage yard and shed to established standards.
• Conduct routine scheduled property inspections.
• Schedule and coordinate on-site contractors for approved services.
• Complete and submit all required reports (property inspection, inventory, work order status, etc.).
• Assist and support the Management Office Staff when required.
• Work to be performed does not include work that requires a license (plumbing, electrical, etc.).

Key Qualifications:

• Medium-level plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and electrical skills.
• Fluent verbal English and effective writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Successfully pass a police vulnerable sector background check.
• Use of reliable vehicle an asset.
• Person living close to Richmond Hill preferred.

Pay: The rate is $23 to $25 per hour based on skills and experience
