Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a Project Manager, Surveying for a full-time opportunity based in Kamloops, BC. This role is ideal for an experienced surveying or geomatics professional with strong leadership abilities who can manage field teams and oversee end-to-end project delivery.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading survey projects from initiation through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Pay Rate: $80,000-$150,000 annually
  • Location: Kamloops, BC
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Employment Type: Permanent | Full-time
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage surveying projects from initiation to completion
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and risk management activities
  • Manage client relationships and maintain clear, professional communication throughout projects
  • Allocate resources and supervise survey teams and support staff
  • Ensure quality control, compliance with standards, and adherence to project requirements
  • Monitor project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and change orders
  • Support project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of milestones
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and records
  • Drive continuous improvement in surveying processes and project delivery
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Diploma or degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in the surveying or geospatial industry
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles and field practices
  • Ability to work on active job sites and outdoors as required
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional designation (BCLS, CLS, P.Eng.) considered an asset but not required
