This client values work life balance, supports CPA education, and seeking a high performing individual.The Role : The Junior Accountant provides support to the Project Accounting team by managing dailyaccounting tasks and taking ownership of monthly close deliverables to meet reportingdeadlines and other business needs.

Support full-cycle accounting for various corporate entities andplex project entities,
including processing accounts payable, preparing monthly close journal entries, preparing invoices, preparing bank reconciliations and processing deposits.
Prepare and support preparation of monthly financial reporting, including balance
sheets, ie statements and GST reasonability calculations, for various corporate
and project entities;
Collect and provide invoices and other information for auditors and quantity surveyors;
Process invoices and ensure the accuracy of coding, allocation and approvals;
Prepare and process cheque requisitions;
Maintain vendor profile and EFT vendor information;
Process monthly ACH / EFT and cheque payments;
Perform ad hoc tasks to support Director of Finance, Corporate Controller and
Project Accounting Managers as needed;
Provide filing and other administrative support as needed.
