Responsibilities
- Responsible for the comprehensive regional implementation of the firm's Human Capital operations and people strategy in support of the business
- Collaborate closely with Human Capital leaders to align on shared priorities and develop actionable plans
- Lead teams to achieve operational excellence, ensuring legislative compliance and maintaining high standards of Human Capital service quality
- Provide support and reporting for the Executive Vice President (EVP) of BC and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Human Capital
- Collaborate with Regional Managing Partners on operational excellence in support of the business
- Oversee the effectiveness of regional learning and development administration, facilitation, and programs. Ensure that training initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and support team member growth. Monitor and evaluate the impact of learning programs, driving continuous improvement and innovation
- Lead, advise, and actively engage in the creation and implementation of the regional recruitment strategy. Oversee workforce planning for the entire recruitment cycle, including the development and execution of regional succession management programs
- Mentor, motivate and coach regional HC leaders towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Analyze statistical reports to identify and determine trends; identify and address issues that impact morale, effectiveness, turnover, absenteeism and productivity, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Provide strategic advice and coaching to business leaders and RHC team members
- As a change enabler, respond to the transformative requirements within HC to facilitate regional operations execution, ensuring alignment with Firm strategies and programs
- Lead, support, and contribute to national programs to achieve key business objectives, driving strategic initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the regions on total rewards strategy and approach within the regions, ensuring competitive positioning in the market alongside local RHC leaders
- Review the quality of the regional compensation approach and oversee the efficient delivery of the annual compensation cycle; recommend changes to maintain external competitiveness
- Oversee the regional planning for learning and development and the administration of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) internal programs
- Ensure best practices in processes for promotions, transfers, job classifications, and the performance management cycle
- In collaboration with legal, stay active with current provincial legislation, changes and trends
- Oversee termination packages and ensure final approvals are obtained as appropriate
- Prepare and deliver presentations for MNP's internal business. Facilitate human capital workgroups, training sessions, and meetings
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning, as well as the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Assist the Human Capital Leadership Group (HCLG) with key projects and initiatives
- Network on behalf of MNP, acting as an ambassador and pro-actively managing the team member life cycle
- Maintain flexibility in our hybrid environment to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
Post-secondary education and accreditation with Human Resources (HR) specialtyCompletion of CPHR designation10 to 15 years of business experience, including HR leadership experienceProfessional services industry experience is considered an assetProven people management, relationship building and leadership skillsAI literacy and data analytics capabilitiesIntermediate experience in Microsoft Office suite of productsExperience with UKG Pro an assetStrong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skillsMyRewards@MNP
