Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician with experience in glazing projects to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, assisting with design development, and ensuring that all project specifications and client requirements are met. This role requires strong proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of glazing systems, and an eye for precision and detail.

Key Responsibilities :

Create detailed 2D drawings for glazing systems, curtain walls, windows, and facades.

Interpret IFC drawings and Project Specifications to develop accurate fabrication and installation plans.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure designs meet structural and aesthetic requirements.

Maintain and update drawing files and documentation in accordance with company standards.

Assist in resolving technical issues by providing design solutions and modifications.

Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Work within project timelines to deliver high-quality outputs.

Qualifications & Experience :

Proven experience as a CAD Technician, preferably within the glazing, curtain wall, or façade industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant CAD software .

Strong understanding of glazing systems, curtain walls, and structural glass applications .

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Knowledge of relevant building regulations, standards, and materials used in glazing.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Experience working with fabrication and installation teams is a plus.

Optional : Degree / Diploma in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field].
