About the Opportunity

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare account reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate journal entries
• Analyze financial transactions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards
• Apply established accounting policies and provide guidance to operational teams
• Prepare audit schedules and analyses and support internal and external audit activities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of month-end close procedures across multiple operating units
• Execute and maintain internal control processes and procedures
• Act as a subject matter expert on internal control matters, supporting cross-functional teams
• Assist with internal process reviews and audits to identify opportunities for control and process enhancements
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting initiatives
• Perform monthly analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast expectations
• Assess key operational and financial metrics to support data-driven decision-making
• Provide insights related to capital asset tracking, management, and reporting, including support for enhanced and predictive reporting initiatives

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
• CPA designation completed or in progress
• Minimum of three years of progressive experience in financial reporting, analysis, and account reconciliation
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manage large datasets
• Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across varying stakeholder groups
• High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to learn quickly
• Demonstrated mindset for continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation
• Experience with enterprise accounting or property management systems considered an asset

Salary Range
$70,000 - $112,000 /year
