As a Baker at Tim Hortons, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive the freshest and highest-quality baked goods. You’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, from our famous donuts to pastries and lunch items. If you’re a detail-oriented, early riser with a passion for baking, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Baking: Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of high-quality baked goods, including donuts, muffins, cookies, bagels, and pastries. Prepare all hot foods for our lunch & dinner programs, following Tim Hortons’ recipes and standards.
• Food Safety & Quality Control: Ensure all products meet Tim Hortons’ quality standards. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
• Inventory Management: Assist with managing stock levels of baking ingredients, keeping track of supplies, and ensuring the kitchen is stocked for each shift. Receiving of supply deliveries twice weekly.
• Prep Work: Prepare kitchen, fillings, and toppings in advance, ensuring they’re ready for baking during peak hours.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring ovens, baking tools, and equipment are in top condition.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen environment, especially during high-volume periods.
• Customer Satisfaction: While this role is considered back of house, you’ll help create an exceptional experience for our customers by ensuring fresh and delicious baked goods are always available.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in baking, preferably in a commercial or high-volume setting.
• A passion for baking with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Early morning availability
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs * Shift Timing 4 am - 12 pm * Previous experience in Quick Service an asset * Strong work ethic & ability to get the job done
