Job Description
What is the opportunity? We are seeking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and work on building Data Monetization products. Reporting to the Associate Director currently supporting the engineering stream, the ideal candidate will be an expert-level organizer capable of resolving ingestion challenges, including handling structured and unstructured data in various formats. You should be forward-thinking, with the ability to help scale up our ingestion products and be a fast learner. Accountability and reliability are crucial, as you will support though production deployment and ensure the smooth operation of our data pipelines. What will you do?
Highly skilled and knowledgeable lead who will work to transform our data engineering technology.
Build state-of-the-art, highly scalable data ingestion products.
Developing, documenting, testing and deploying data pipelines
Supporting through production deployments, including bi-weekly releases.
Ensuring the integrity and performance of data ingestion pipelines.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Python : 7-10+ years of experience and proficiency, including strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and core Python concepts.
Experience with Data Engineering Technologies
Proficiency in building data ingestion end-to-end products, data modeling, and working with APIs for Ingestion.
Experience building Data Quality Frameworks
Knowledge on Databases; Expertise in Snowflake Database, Data lakes etc.
Cloud Technologies : Azure
Building Pipelines on Azure Databricks : Proficiency in using Azure Gen2 Storage Accounts.
Databricks DLT (Delta Live Tables) : Experience in building pipelines and executing Jobs.
Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes and Strong Computer Science Knowledge; Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code; Self-motivated and pro-active with proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines; Strong communication skills - Ability to summarize and explain clearly large and complex information to a wide range of audiences (senior managers, audit, controller, finance, model developers, regulators and controls)
Nice-to-have
Knowledge on Azure services
Familiarity with Snowflake.
Experience working with Jira, Confluence, MS Office
