About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead, Artificial Intelligence to help drive the strategic development and deployment of AI technologies across Ontario’s health care system. Reporting directly to the EVP & COO, this position plays a pivotal role in establishing Ontario as a global leader in AI-enabled health care.
This is a part-time hybrid role based in Toronto , with a commitment of 1 day per week , and an initial term of 1 year with potential for a 1-year extension .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and evaluation of high-impact, evidence-based AI use cases in clinical settings
- Guide provincial adoption of AI health technologies through robust clinical validation and stakeholder collaboration
- Oversee strategies for scaling AI tools using existing provincial clinical digital infrastructure and decision support systems
- Advise on the use and sharing of high-value health data assets to support AI development and deployment
- Foster readiness and capacity within health organizations for AI integration
- Act as a liaison between healthcare leaders, AI developers, and system partners to advance AI initiatives
- Champion responsible, ethical, and transparent AI use across the health system
- Monitor implementation and performance of AI-enabled solutions in alignment with provincial health priorities
