Production Team Development Specialist

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly skilled Production Team Development Specialist to play a key role in enhancing our production capabilities across our factories in Asia.
Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced professional with over 10 years of expertise in building and leading production teams .
This role, based in Toronto, involves the training, hiring, development, and mentoring of our production staff at our factories in Asia .
This is not a typical 9-to-5 job; it requires an entrepreneurial mindset , the ability to adapt to changing conditions, and the flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment .
Frequent travel between Toronto and Asia is required, and we need a disciplined leader who can inspire and guide our teams to achieve the highest standards of excellence.
Candidates with a military background are encouraged to apply . The leadership skills, discipline, and experience in structured environments that come from military service are highly valued and transferable to this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and productivity of our production teams in Asia.
- Hire, develop, and lead a talent acquisition program to attract and retain top-tier talent within our production teams.
- Ensure all production processes align with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs ) and industry best practices.
- Mentor and coach team leaders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address training needs and performance gaps.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Work closely with quality control teams to ensure product consistency and compliance with customer specifications.
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency through effective team management and process optimization.
