Job Description

Our client is seeking a  Civil Engineer - Roadway  to join our growing team in Toronto.

This role is ideal for a motivated professional with  7–12 years of experience in roadway and transportation engineering . The position offers the opportunity to lead and collaborate on impactful projects with municipal, provincial, and private clients, including the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO), Metrolinx, and municipalities across Ontario.

The role focuses on detailed design, multidisciplinary coordination, and project management support. It’s a chance to further develop technical skills while contributing to transformative infrastructure projects in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Delivery :

• Lead and contribute to the planning, preliminary, and detailed design of roadways and highways.
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal design standards (e.g., TAC, OTM, MTO Design Supplements).
• Prepare engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and design calculations.
