Overall Responsibilities

Reporting to the Jamieson Marketing Director, Canada, and with the support of a direct report, the Integrated Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering end-to-end communication and shopper marketing campaigns that are fully aligned to provided brand strategy and results in the brand consistently delivering its sales, profit, market share, and customer ranking goals.

The Integrated Marketing Manager takes brand campaigns from the point of concept approval through to execution, delivering meaningful and measurable results.

This includes ownership of Shopper Marketing planning and execution, overseeing display management and how all programs come to life in store.

Project management and measurement will be critical to this role, ensuring flawless execution as well as profit and revenue growth and Campaign ROI.

This role will also oversee the development & integration of the JWEL Canada Education plans within campaign execution and oversee a team of two educators.

Requirements

  • Work with Jamieson Marketing Director and Associate Brand Managers to develop annual marketing plans that drive the sales of key items / segments
  • Develop and manage a Shopper Marketing Strategy across key accounts delivering strong ROI including display management;

Manage execution through Associate Integrated Marketing Manager

  • After receiving the strategic brief from the Associate Brand Manager, lead cross functional workflow and execution of marketing campaigns, aligning all internal stakeholders on TV, digital, print, PR and in-store shopper marketing objectives and KPIs supporting the channel strategy
  • Manages strong relationships with external agencies, motivating inter-agency collaboration and successful delivery high-quality, integrated programs
  • Makes continuous improvements to campaign planning process through on-going optimizations and key learnings
  • Work with Commercial Strategy on annual and quarterly business planning process. Manage the team to deliver sell-in materials as needed to bring to life our key initiatives for the Sales Organization and their Customers
  • Brief the creative internal / external studio team on the development of creative, copy development and in-market execution and work with them to get to best-in-class creative
  • Support end-to-end project execution, supporting creative team for photoshoots and filming, including managing Commercial team stakeholders for reviews, approvals, pre-productions, and delivery to media / client lead
  • Provide postmortem on all campaigns & shopper marketing programs highlighting key learnings, best practices and new opportunities to bring forward
  • Develop annual education strategy and plan working collaboratively with education team; Lead educational partnerships, sponsorships, pharmacist and retailer touchpoints to ensure JWEL is top of mind for trade partners and health care practitioners
  • Organize in-store activations, trade shows, exhibitions and promotional events including writing and proofreading marketing copy.
  • Proactively seeks cost-savings initiatives to drive out waste and maximize ROI of campaign elements and in-store tools.
  • Coach and develop direct reports via regular one to one meetings on the day to day business
  • Manages, tracks, and submits budgets monthly
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or related fields.
  • 5-9 years of client-side campaign development or a combination of client-side and marketing agency experience, including shopper marketing.

Preferably within a consumer-packaged goods or VMS environment. Experience must be consumer-facing.

  • Excellent time management / project management skills (ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders demands).
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working on or with creative agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of running B2B and B2C campaigns.
  • Ability to manage several marketing campaigns simultaneously and delivering reports on ROI.
  • A good understanding of current marketing trends.
  • Experience in budget management
  • Strong creative eye with experience evaluating and developing communication materials.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • A strong passion for improving the world’s Health & Wellness
  • At least 2 years of experience managing direct reports
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing campaign best practices and KPI development.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and passion for inspiring better lives everyday.
  • Knowledge of Nielsen, IQVIA or other POS data sources an asset.
