We are looking for a safety-oriented, motivated AZ Fleet Truck Driver to join our organization. In this role, you will ensure the safe transportation of our products, which are essential to infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of DECAST and provide an excllent customer service experience
- Transportation of precast concrete products
- Maintain consistent, effective communication
- Ensure load documentation is complete and accurate
- Keep updated and accurate daily work logs and records
- Maintain vehicle and equipment in a way that follows DECAST Policy / Procedure and the OHSA, MTO legislation
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 5 year experience operating an AZ certified truck / trailer and equipment with flat bed and / or float load experience is required
- Full knowledge of all proper safety guidelines and equipment available to complete daily tasks (i.e. safety footwear and High-Visibility MTO approved apparel / safety wear, etc.)
- Pre-start checks and operation of lift booms on truck and trailers
- Load Security (strapping and chains)
- CTPAT, MTO and DOT regulations
- Clear CVOR abstract
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and suggest corrective action
- Ability to learn new techniques and adapt to change
