We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Senior Proposal Team Manager to join our Toronto office. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you’ll work in a creative and collaborative environment, leading a talented team of proposal professionals to secure new business and support our strategic growth initiatives.

What You’ll Do :
As the Senior Proposal Team Manager, you will provide leadership and coaching for a team of proposal managers, specialists, coordinators, and administrators.
You will work closely with People & Culture to ensure appropriate staffing levels and oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
Your role will involve managing day-to-day team operations, workloads, and integration with business development and proposal opportunities.
Building strong relationships with external clients and internal marketing teams will be crucial, as well as advising Principals and senior leadership on proposals, RFP submissions, and client presentations.
You will drive quality by implementing best practices and tools to ensure top-quality, competitive proposals, while also crafting thoughtful and creative narratives for strategic proposals that meet or exceed client and project requirements.
Leading the RFP review process, establishing proposal plans, and assigning resources will be key responsibilities, alongside monitoring progress to ensure all deadlines are met.
You will develop customized pitch documents and presentations for various business groups, manage the development and maintenance of content, tools, and templates for proposal management, and conduct research to analyze market trends, competitors, and potential opportunities to enhance our value propositions.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the success and growth of our business development initiatives.
Who You Are :
- Experienced Leader : Minimum 3+ years of experience leading a team of proposal professionals in the AEC industry.
- Educational Background : Business diploma or degree in business, commerce, marketing, or communications with at least 10 years of related experience.
- Detail-Oriented : Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Problem Solver : Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
- Client-Focused : Stellar client service skills and effective communication with all organizational levels.
- Innovative Thinker : Always looking for ways to improve processes and implement best practices.
