Our Greater Vancouver Area team is looking for a Campus Recruitment Specialist to support the development, planning and execution of our early talent and undergraduate campus recruitment strategy, events, and activities.
From time to time, you may also be asked to support events outside of the campus portfolio. This is a contract role spanning a nine-month period.
Reporting into the Campus Senior Manager, you will be working with the Campus Recruiting Partner and an outstanding team of recruitment professionals committed providing excellence in all they do.
What you will do
- Manage job requisitions and candidate workflow in our Applicant Tracking System.
- Responsible for project management, planning and execution of all campus recruitment events for the GVA.
- Responsible for communications and logistics coordination for information sessions, recruitment events, interviews, and all other strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Displays a positive image of KPMG to prospective students when attending events and building and maintaining relationships with prospective candidates and incoming new hires.
- Collaborates with Campus Recruitment Leads and the Digital team to amplify and enhance all events and recruitment programs on social media.
- Leads junior team members as they support the execution of recruitment programs, events, and administrative activities.
- Contributes new ideas and is passionate about challenging the status quo for the betterment of the candidate experience.
- At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job.
Likewise, people need extra time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.
Please note that many campus recruitment programs and projects span over several months. This role will require in-person event attendance and some travel for recruitment purposes within the region.
What you bring to the role
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Campus or Student recruitment, HR or similar roles
- Experience in event planning and execution for both in-person and virtual settings
- Outstanding organization, project management skills and attention to detail demonstrated through experience in event planning and / or multi-stakeholder projects.
- Highly motivated, with ability to manage multiple priorities and activities; strong time management skills and ability to work within deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent relationship building skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work cooperatively with people who have a diverse range of skills, styles, and approaches.
- Exceptional communicator, people-centered, and passionate about creating a diverse, inclusive, and belonging culture.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including outside of regular business hours.
- Self-starter and desire to work in a face-paced team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $53,000 to $79,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
