We are seeking a experienced Health & Safety Specialist for a client of ours in the Vancouver area. This is a site based long term contract opportunity. The Health & Safety Specialist provides health and safety support to our clients asset management team, working in partnership with the Health & Safety Manager, Project Managers, and Engineering team. This role ensures that safety is integrated into all phases of project planning and execution, focusing on risk mitigation, compliance, and continuous safety improvement. This individual will oversee contractor safety, pre-job safety setup, and field safety verification during capital projects, shutdowns, and maintenance initiatives. With a high volume of capital projects and maintenance initiatives, this role ensures that safety is proactively integrated into project planning and continuously monitored during execution.
