Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be involved in :
Managing tasks throughout the design, procurement , permitting and construction process.
Ensuring project compliance with client’s document controls and specifications
Regular collaboration and coordination with project team and external stakeholders
Leading change order management
Problem solving and driving solutions
Leading procurement of consultants and contractors to award.
RFI management and tracking.
Chairing and coordinating meetings; issuance of minutes and driving respective actions
Managing and monitoring project schedule
Managing and reporting of the project budget
Preparing and issuing client progress reports
Punch-list management
Administering project closeout and associated turnover documentation
Conducting lessons learned workshops
Transition of close-out documentation to operations
Client Relationship Management
Works in partnership with clients to build trusted relationships
Balances the needs of different clients
Understands and shares the client’s strategy and goals
Contributes to development and closure of new business opportunities
Team Work :
Oversees the activities of project team
Ability to effectively collaborate with others - team approach
Provides guidance, support, coaching and motivation to project team
Leads by example
Delivers an exciting team vision, which inspires others to perform beyond their initial aspirations
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in assisting or supervising construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a similar field
- PMP is an asset
- Experience as Owners representative is an asset
- Ground up construction experience as well as TI experience
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Project or P6.
- Good with numbers, technology, and web-based data platforms.
- Great communication skills
Additional Information
The base salary range for this full-time role is $70,000 - $100,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications
