Job Summary :
We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our growing Sales & Marketing (Got-to-Market) team.
The Marketing & Communications Specialist will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, trust, and advocacy to support our ambitious growth objectives.
This role is pivotal in educating insurers, claim adjusters, and the overall P&C industry about Sinistar and the problems we solve.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create compelling and SEO-friendly content for our website, blog, socials, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the Go-to-Market team to develop content marketing strategies (customer testimonials, case studies, vendor comparisons, etc.)
- Develop and manage digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, trust and traffic to generate leads across various channels including PPC, SEO, SEM, email, socials, and display advertising.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and KPIs to make data-driven decisions that optimize ROI.
- Source PR opportunities and manage external communications with various channels and outlets (awards, journals, news, speaking engagements, event organizers, etc.)
- Identify events and manage all logistics including registrations, sponsorships, exhibitions / booths, activations, staffing, etc.
- Attend events, manage a calendar and track budget expenditures to evaluate the success of each and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and implement new strategies to position Sinistar as a thought leader in the P&C insurance industry.
Qualifications :
- 2-4 years experience in scaling marketing strategies within a high-growth startup environment.
- Strong background in content marketing and SEO.
- Events marketing experience is a plus.
- PR & communications experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in advertising, Google advertising, HubSpot, and Google Business Suite and / or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, startup environment.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
