This role is for one ofthe top 10 tierone Pharma Companies.
The Operational Technology Technician is responsiblefor supporting ongoing operations by providing technical assistanceas it relates to the manufacturing and process automation systems.
The incumbent provides technical support to operations to ensureOperational Technology (OT) systems and infrastructure are designedand operating to meet production needs.
Assist with OTrelated inputinto continuous improvement initiatives and capitalinvestments.
OperationsSupport :
Deliver 24x7x365 support tomanufacturing operations by troubleshooting equipment systemsinstrumentation servers and processes to resolve issues that mayarise during manufacturingcampaigns.
Provide process automationsupport for ongoing production operations and new equipment / processintroductions.
Provide offshift and oncall (aspart of a rotation) support whennecessary.
Provide onthefloor operationalsupport as needed.
Assist other departments inevaluating historical process / equipmentdata.
Monitor and troubleshoot dailysystem backups.
Trains users in the basicoperation and maintenance of computers and relatedcomponents
Leadership :
Effectivelycommunicate progress and opportunities (i.e. roadblocks) tostakeholders.
Equipment / Systems OwnerAdministrator
Perform as owner of F&Eequipment and systems.
Perform as system administratorfor manufacturing equipment andsystems.
Responsible for Periodic reviewof the OT systems.
Responsible for assuring varioususer levels have appropriate documented training and authorizationfor access to F&Emanaged computersystems.
Responsible forbackup / archiving / restoring of OT configuration andbatch / recipe / methods.
Support or maintain the OTnetwork control and I / O levelnetworks.
ContinuousImprovement
Increase process control byutilizing automation concepts andsolutions.
Review and improve site OTstandards for hardware andsoftware.
Improve OT Standard OperatingProcedures.
Support projects and ensure siteOT standards are followed.
Quality
Support review ofQualification / Validation protocols and related documentationincluding project / master plan andassessments.
Support internal and externalaudits and regulatoryinspections.
Ensure new and legacy systemscomply with current IT / OT security policies and regulationsincluding FDA 21 CFR part 11 and Annex11.
New Equipment / ProcessIntroductions
Evaluate and utilize technologyto incorporate innovation into process and equipmentdesigns.
Interact with internal / externalcustomers (i.e. MSAT) and evaluate process requirements to ensurethe facility and equipment OT capabilities canaccommodate.
