Job Description
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for supporting the LPS project and commissioning team in the following areas :
- Assessments
- Commissioning
- Installation
- Preventive Maintenance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Will work efficiently under the guidance of the Field Support Supervisor for the following tasks :
Understanding of mechanical / electrical drawings for industrial control systems. Repairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manual, and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery, and mechanical equipment, such as engines, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production equipment, using hand tools, power tools, end precision-measuring and testing instrumentsDemonstrate the skill set required for millwrightsAbility to work alone and / or minimal supervisionAdept mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair skillsAbility to work as part of a teamProvides leadership, coaching, and / or mentoring to a subordinate groupReadily available to go onsite for technical emergencies / customer support at any timeDemonstrate the skill set required for mechanical and electrical troubleshootingCertification in various welding techniques (stick, MiG, and TIG welding) is a plusProvides customer service and support for electronic equipmentInstalls, calibrates, maintains, and repairs equipmentResponds to calls for emergency repairsPerforms work under minimal supervisionHandles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staffUses manufacturers' service manuals and documentation to provide initial troubleshooting and / or repairsMay be responsible for maintaining required parts inventory by ordering replacement parts as necessary and conducting inventories as requiredQUALIFICATIONS :
