Night Auditor

• The Night Auditor is a multiroleposition and is responsible handling aspects of the Front Officeassisting both internal and external guests in an efficient andfriendly manner.
• Reconcile necessary accountsand functions in preparation for the next business day andefficiently and accurately balance all Rooms and Food and Beveragecharges during audit.
• Provide effective fastservice in a friendly manner.
• Ensure thehighest level of guest satisfaction by addressing concernspromptly.
• Answer incoming calls and communicateto other departments as required.
• Review andprepare for VIP and ALL loyalty members arrivals to ensure flawlesscheckin experience.
• Check in and out hotelguests according to standards andpolicies.
• Monitor for special rates and billingarrangements.
• Keep front desk organized tidiedand sanitized up to ALL Safe policies.
• Ensurefront desk is stocked with essentialmaterial.
• Maintain a professional neat andwellgroomed appearance adhering to Hotel groomingstandards.
• Pass on any guest comments to NightManager or delegates.
• Serve as an informationsource primarily regarding the Hotel.
• Ensureguest security by proper handling of guest room keys and personalinformation according to set policies.
• Aware ofall emergency procedures.
• In the course ofnormal duties to observe report or take immediate corrective actionon deficiencies malfunctions anduntidiness.
• Run audit reports fromOpera PMS ensuring accuracy.
• Review DailyOutlet Totals from PointofSale System and balance dailyrevenue.
• Keep accurate financial records andbackups.
• Balances reconciles and settles allbank credit cards.
• Perform any other duties asassigned.

Qualifications :

• Solid knowledgeof Front Office Night Audit and AccountingProcedures.
• Working knowledge of OracleProperty Management Systems or similar.
• Workingknowledge of Silverware POS or similar Food and Beveragesystem.
• Strong computer skills especially withMicrosoft Word Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum twoyears previous experience as a Night Auditor or Reception Agentideally in 500key property
• Ability to workcalmly under pressure and multitask in a fastpaced and constantlychanging environment.
• Ability to work withminimal supervision.
• Must be passionate aboutguest service.
• Must possess excellentinterpersonal skills.
• Excellent problemsolvingskills and detail oriented.
• Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills.
• Teamplayer.
• Typing speed of 50wpm.
• Ability to work overnight shifts withflexible weekly schedule.
• Previous accountingexperience would be an asset.
• Hotel / Hospitalitydegree or diploma anasset.

• Constant standingand walking throughout shift.
• Frequent liftingand carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Constant kneelingpushing pulling lifting.
