Job description

Job Description

Our client, an established regulatory body/association in Downtown Toronto, is seeking a Candidate Accommodations and Resource Coordinator to join their team. This is a full time permanent position offering a competitive salary, a hybrid work environment, and the chance to join a friendly team!

Roles and Responsibilities

-Work with the Registrar and the Exam team to manage candidate accommodation requests for exams
-Review requests and paperwork, ensuring proper and compliant documentation
-Answer candidate inquiries and manage correspondence
-Coordinate and implement accommodation process when approved
-Draft communications around accommodation request decisions for candidates and testing providers
-Work collaboratively with other internal teams to manage and implement accommodation process
-Develop documentation, staff training materials and guidelines to implement accommodations in line with the organization's policies and procedures
-Follow up after examination for feedback
-Update candidate website related content
-Report preparation
-Stakeholder communication
-Assist with development of candidate exam resources
-Vendor communication
-Maintain and update organizational policies and procedures surrounding the accommodation process
-Other relate tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skills

-Must have completed a post-secondary degree or diploma
-Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience
-Must have experience working in a regulatory body/association or in the education sector
-Experience with coordinating exam accommodations/administration/testing accommodations is strongly preferred
-Must be highly organized and detail oriented
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
-Experience in developing training resources is a strong asset
-Must have strong problem solving skills
-Must be proficient in MS Office
-Must have excellent time management skills
