Position Details :
This is a Teaching Cafeteria position and requires experience in a commercial kitchen as well as certification in Food Safe Level 1.
In addition to instruction of students, the position involves coordination with district food services. The teaching cafeteria provides daily meal service for morning break and lunch for our school community.
This position consists of :
6 blocks of Culinary Arts / Teaching Cafeteria
1 block of Career Life Education 10
Qualifications :
Bachelor of Education
Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics and / or successful teaching experience in Home Economics-Culinary Arts is required
Maintaining the safety and smooth operation of the commercial kitchen / teaching cafeteria
Membership in or eligible to become a member in the Teacher Regulation Branch
Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service
