Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at the Retail Support Centre (RSC) and contribute to keeping our operations running smoothly.

You’ll be performing essential preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, ensuring our facility stays efficient and safe for everyone.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct repairs on machinery as needed, ensuring swift and effective solutions.
• Assist with parts ordering and maintaining inventory for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Complete daily equipment inspections promptly and thoroughly.
• Support the Maintenance Department across different tasks as required.
• Follow and enforce all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure sanitation standards are consistently met in your working areas.
• Handle refrigeration tasks in line with local legislation (if applicable).
• Take on additional duties as needed to support the team.

What you have to offer :

• Red Seal Certification as a Millwright (or applicable trade certification).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in an industrial setting, preferably in a Retail Support Centre.
• Certified to operate mobile equipment (forklifts, etc.).
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including lifting (occasionally over 88 lbs).
• Two-person lift required for items exceeding 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and maintaining awareness of surroundings (e.g., other people, vehicles).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
