Facilities Administrator
Are you exceptionally organized and can think fast on your feet? If so, Toromont CAT would like you on the Concord facilities Team.
Our facilities objectives are continuing to grow at a rapid pace and we need someone to assist in the improvements. The candidate will be responsible for Facilities Management of the Concord site and assist with the day-to-day requirements of the building operation, grounds and critical infrastructure, including Security and Custodial services.

In a typical day, YOU will :
- Assist in the planning and execution of facility standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain contractor and vendor contact lists including Contractor Compliance
- Administration of Purchase Orders and invoice management through our internal systems
- Management of RPRA-Hazardous Waste Program Registry expenses
- Monitor facility expenses as well as project related work
- Maintain legislative filing requirements for Buildings and Properties.
- Process and monitor work requests from concept to completion
- Organize and oversee the work for contractors and vendors.
- Monitor ongoing metrics and suggest areas for improvement
- Assist with the execution of Project work
- Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviours and objectives at all times in support if Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy / Programs and best practices.
- Point contact for onsite third party security team
- Implementation and data management of the new CMMS system
Must-haves for this role :
- Post Secondary Education and / or experience in skilled trades or building operations.
- Experience in using virtual building management software.
- Knowledge of building systems; life safety, computer rooms, heavy equipment repair shop equipment, air compressors and HVAC systems
- Experience in virtual project management and contractor coordination.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a timely manner while being adaptable to constant change in a fast paced environment.
- Results driven, self-starter, independent and a team player with strong initiative.
- Excellent computer proficiencies, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- French would be an asset
