Responsibilities
- Management of the concrete lab including testing and monitoring of the manufacturing process
- Ensure compliance with mix design and job specification
- Work directly with production managers on test results to aid in the production of quality ready-mix concrete
- Proactively suggest improvements to current processes
- Implement corrective actions when required, after consultation with necessary operational personnel
- Represent the company in a professional, positive manner when dealing with internal and external customers
- Additional duties as assigned
Technical Requirements
- Minimum two-year Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent experience in a Quality Control position would be considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints / shop drawings
- Current CCIL / ACI certification for concrete testing, or willingness to pursue

- Desire to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-focused environment
- Be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures
- Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft office, excel, etc.
- Must possess a valid class G driver’s license with the ability to travel to work locations and job sites as needed

This position pays between $25 - $35 per hour, based on skills, education and experience.
