Champion Staffing is seeking a Produce Clerk to join our client's team! This is a great opportunity to have a stable, long-term career with growth potential in the company.

Responsibilities :

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of fruits and vegetables to assess quality and freshness.
• Check for accurate product quantity and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Arrange and display produce in an organized and visually appealing manner, following merchandising guidelines.
• Rotate products regularly to ensure freshness and remove any damaged or expired items promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the team to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and contribute to minimizing product shrink.
• Identify and remove any substandard or damaged products from the shelves.
• Work closely with the team to adhere to quality standards and minimize waste.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a grocery or retail environment is an asset.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle.
• Knowledge of fruits and vegetables, including seasonal variations and ripeness indicators.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
