Intermediate Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our R&D Team. You will be working on projects to support the researches on code vulnerability and Anti-Virus (AV).

This is a great opportunity for you to participate in the development cycle from researching, prototyping to deployment.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn new technologies and will have a passion for making a difference in the cybersecurity industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of research prototype.
• Maintain and improve existing research projects

Job Requirements

• Good programming skills in Kotlin / Java, C / C++, Golang
• Fluent in other scripting languages (Python, Javascript / Typescript)
• Knowledge of database (MySQL, SQLite, etc.)
• Knowledge of version control tools (GitLab, SVN etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux
• Fast learner with a good attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's in computer science or related field

Bonus :

• Knowledge / experience with code vulnerability detection is an asset
• Experience working with graph databases (ex : TinkerPop, JanusGraph) is an asset
• Experience with data mining and / or machine learning is an asset
• Experience with assembly code is an asset

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $81,000 - $110,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.

Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
